Do not make an idol to worship
“You shall not make for yourself a graven image” Shemos 20: 4
If someone transgressed and made one, whether he made it himself or ordered it made he should receive lashes.
If he made it for himself, he should receive lashes twice. (for this prohibition and -10 below)
