Do not eat non-kosher birds
As it says “these you shall hold in abomination amongst the fowl, they shall not be eaten” Vayikra 11:13
Any bird that divides its feet when perched on a string with 2 talons on one side and two talons on the other, or takes its food from the air and eats it mid-air is a bird of prey and non-kosher.
Those living with non-kosher birds and that resemble them are non-kosher.
If someone ate an olive size amount from a non-kosher bird, he should receive lashes.
The Torah also forbade the eating of the eggs of non-kosher species of birds.
This applies in all places at all times for men and women.
